Climbing the Marketing Mountain
As a part of a trade show, we were given the chance to produce something exceeding the typical “Thanks for that USB drive I’ll never use, buddy.” The conference title, CommPartners PEAK 2018, screamed “mountain climbing” to us. Our approach? Produce something memorable (true to the story of climbing) involved rustic paper, mountain metaphors, and design elements common to survival manuals. This, with only one week and $700; barely enough to purchase decent climbing gear. Not only was the event a great success, but we also received a Hermes Gold award; yep, an award for print in a digital agency.
